“Want to know my secret for being able to work around the clock filming a new TV show and researching and writing for a new book? The secret is a restaurant chain called ‘Freshii'.
If you want great clean food, real fast really delicious and take away, then this is the place. As long as I knew there was a Freshiii nearby, I knew I would be fine.
My favourite is their Asian Vegetable Soup. This is a pure vegan vegetable and miso soup where they will add in anything that you ask for into the hot broth. So today I asked for raw broccoli, carrots, edamames, grilled tofu, sweetcorn and brown rice. For the most part, the vegetables are added in raw into the soup broth. This way you get very high enzyme vegetables into the hot soup. Perfect! They add anything into the broth that you ask. So, for example, they have raw mushrooms, rice noodles, peas, sunflower seeds, almost anything that’s good for you. And it really does taste great. takeaway soup container is huge, but probably a normal ‘American’ portion. So it can be a complete meal for anyone; or it could serve two if eating as a starter.
The rest of their offerings are equally perfect. The FreshiiWrap was probably the best Wrap I’ve ever eaten. They can make virtually any Wrap that you could dream up. I had the Vegan Wrap, of course. It comes with spinach, broccoli, cucumbers, grilled Portobello mushrooms, Chick Peas, Sun dried Tomatoes, and Virgin Olive & Balsamic Vinegar or any dressing of your choice. You can literally choose from a amazing array of different foods and dressings to make any kind of vegan wrap that you want. Be creative!
They also have fantastic salads, vegetable burritos, and more. You will never be stuck for good fast healthy food in Toronto. You’ll love Freshii.”
